Yes, you need an account to use this great feature -- obvious from the log-in screen? The feature is a major time saver -- super simple, drag and drop receipt submission that keeps my desktop neat and tidy. This was the perfect addition to Shoeboxeds submission options… Im very pleased!

Am glad I downloaded this app - works great!
I got started with this on the weekend. Had an entire business worth of receipts uploaded in about 25 minutes (a LOT of receipts). Worked great, no hiccups in uploading at all. The only errors I had were scanner errors. The 1 star rating this app received is a little silly. Shoeboxed is a paid product. The product works perfectly.

Here’s an app that truly delivers on its promises. Can’t believe how easy and fast it is. Icing on the cake: You can select and upload more than one file at a time. I did as many as 7 at a time; I don’t know if there is a limit on the number you can batch add. Thank you, Shoeboxed!
Not for me
Good idea, but isn’t for me. I need something that is instant and does not sit in “processing” for a bit.
disappointing
I’ve had shoeboxed now for over a year, and found it to be unreliable and clunky. The photo upload frequently doesn’t work and the app miscategorizes scanned business cards as receipts (with no apparent way to recategorize or remove). Hasn’t been updated since 2012, so looks like these turkeys may be deservedly going out of business.
